Here I am, posing in front of the new uni library. It's relatively attractive in comparison to the other buildings on campus, but there's an inexplicable expanse of ugly pavement in front of the entrance. You know how good memories can make an otherwise completely nondescript place seem almost beautiful? I suppose that was my intention with the pavement today -- with the help of fun memories and nice pictures, it's grown on me a little. :)
These tights aren't actually the same color as my skirt, the photos are just a little bit off. The color on the package said 'jade,' but it's more of a greenish-teal. I don't mind the color-correction, though -- it's fun to be subversive and match perfectly while everybody's talking about color clashing!
When this week ends, there are two weeks left of the semester, and after that, holidays, and I'll officially be halfway done with my degree! It's absolutely terrifying to think about, especially considering how fast the last year and a half went by. Getting into uni had been my ultimate goal for the first eighteen years of my life, and the entire time, the concept of uni itself seemed so far away that it never even occurred to me to wonder what happens afterwards. And now I have to... I truly am content with my life right now, and knowing that it'll change soon only makes me appreciate it all the more. But who knows, maybe it'll lead to bigger and better things. It's scary, but in a nervous excitement kind of way. :)
