I didn't realize that one of the buttons on my cardigan was undone until after we'd finished taking photos, and now I can't stop staring at it. I've spent an embarrassingly long time trying it to will it shut with my mind. I do that sort of thing a lot...

I'm wearing my new shoes! They're $20 cheapo Miu Miu knockoffs, but while I was in Valleygirl yesterday, one glance at the romantic peachy-pinkness of them sealed the deal, and they were mine. At one point I had a real problem with cheap knockoffs of designer things, but then I came to two realizations: essentially all mainstream fashion nowadays is influenced in some way or another by designer...and I'm probably never going to be able to afford the real deal, so I might as well scratch that itch with some designer-'inspired' pieces. :D

Stephen and I went for sushi today as a sort of farewell get-together before I leave. Afterwards, we spent the longest time scouting for locations to do this outfit shoot. First I suggested the parking lot, but I don't know what I was thinking because did I just forget for a second that parking lots are generally cement-y and unnattractive? Then we tried shooting inside the shopping center, but I felt incredibly awkward posing indoors, and I was also counting on the depth of field of my lens to blur out the gigantic Dick Smith sign in the background...which it didn't really do. So that's how we ended up on uni campus, taking photos. Let me just say that I'll never not feel weird and out of place when I'm at uni anytime I don't absolutely have to be.

Anyway, I'm off to bleach and dye my hair, talk soon! :)
