These are my newest shoes! I recently got a sale from my Etsy shop, and within an hour, I'd already spent my earnings. And the sad thing is, that's not shocking at all. These shoes came with skinny elastic laces, but it looked a little too business-y, so I me-ified them with some gold ribbon from the Reject Shop. I'm not sure how I feel about this specific shade of ribbon, but I like the fact that I can be finicky and replace it with whatever color I want. :D

I had my French oral exam today, which was a 5-minute conversation with my tutor about a text of our choice; mine was an article about the history of marriage. I'd completely psyched myself out beforehand believing that there'd be absolutely no way I'd pass...but (as is always the case) it really wasn't that bad. Sure, I had one major brain fart, but overall, I'm pretty confident that I didn't fail. Afterward, Stephen and I rewarded ourselves with a delicious sushi train lunch; a perfect end to a stressful morning.

I've added a 'Friends' section in the sidebar, if you have a blog and you'd like to trade links, email me at brinny@notwithoutincident.net; it's free, I don't bite. :)
