A day off from uni equals a trip to the city. These kinds of blog posts are basically a condensed version of the photo albums I upload to Facebook, along with some commentary.
Our first stop of the day was American Apparel on Oxford St., where I tried on safari shorts (which bulged weirdly) and ended up buying this nail polish on sale for $6.
A shot of Angie because I like to play paparazzi too. :D
Heaven = tiramisu. Chocolate for lunch at Max Brenner.
Craziest busker ever at Circular Quay. It is mean to admit that I kept waiting for him to fall..?
Sydney was gorgeous today. :)
And for some reason, we always end up hanging out at Pitt Street Mall. Cassie joined us at the point; she transferred to USyd so we basically never get to see her anymore, so it was nice to hang out with her today. Elevator shots are tradition nowadays.
A ruler in the shape of a gun at Typo. Need it!
Trying on candy-colored shoes at Wanted.
There was an awesome free photobooth in the middle of Sportsgirl! Cassie and I were so excited about the thing that we went in three times.
In Portmans, trying on the same jacket. I seriously cannot get over how adorable it is, and cheap too (for Portmans at least) -- $80! Cassie, for some reason, enjoys looking...predatory.
And the most satisfying end to the day, a package was waiting for me when I got home. It was from Gretchen, one of my oldest and very best friends from the States; she sent me a handknitted hat, hair dye, nail polish, and a novel of letters, which I'm so excited to read.
A photobooth picture of us from 2003 (she's in the glasses). It's crazy to think that we've been friends for nearly a decade!
